GuocoLand announced that AccorHotels will relocate its Asia-Pacific headquarters to Guoco Tower, part of its mixed-use development Tanjong Pagar Centre, scheduled to receive its Temporary Occupation Permit in July. Within the development, AccorHotels will also operate the five-star Sofitel Singapore City Centre as one of its flagship hotels in Singapore.

In conjunction with the opening of Sofitel Singapore City Centre, AccorHotels will launch Club Millésime, with exclusive privileges for hotel guests. AccorHotels will also offer exclusive membership to a limited number of top executives, such as chairmen, presidents and CEOs, of major corporate tenants of Guoco Tower.

New corporate tenants that have signed up at Guoco Tower include Japanese transport company K Line, global agribusiness and food company Bunge and US-based HR consulting firm Manpower Group. Other tenants announced in January are DNB Asia, a wholly-owned subsidiary of DNB Bank Asia; Hong Leong Bank; IT company Open Link; and global workspace provider Regus. GuocoLand Group will also centralise its Singapore operations at Tanjong Pagar Centre.

When completed, Tanjong Pagar Centre will have 890,000 sq ft of Grade-A office space at Guoco Tower, a 100,000 sq ft dynamic lifestyle and F&B component, the 181-unit Wallich Residence, the 222-room Sofitel Singapore City Centre and the 150,000 sq ft Urban Park. The project will be linked underground to the Tanjong Pagar MRT station.
