Singapore-based real estate services provider APAC Realty, through its subsidiary brand ERA, has signed a franchise agreement with Hong Kong–owned real estate and financial services firm Hong Kong Morning Dragon Company (HKMD).

Under the agreement announced on Oct 28, HKMD will hold operational rights over ERA member broker offices in Hong Kong for a three-year term starting Jan 1, 2026. APAC Realty retains the option to renew the agreement for another three years, subject to certain contractual conditions.

With this expansion, APAC Realty’s network will grow to more than 21,900 advisors across 14 Asia-Pacific countries. The Hong Kong franchise — ERA Hong Kong Morning Dragon — will be led by Michelle Chan and Benny Wong, both seasoned professionals with over three decades of experience in banking and cross-border real estate.

According to Marcus Chu, CEO of APAC Realty, the group’s entry into Hong Kong comes at a “strategic and opportune time, amid renewed investor confidence and improving market sentiment”.

Hong Kong’s property market has been showing signs of recovery this year, supported by the removal of property stamp duties, easing mortgage rates and improving affordability.

ERA HKMD’s Chan says the partnership “reflects our commitment to staying ahead of industry trends and strengthening our competitive edge”. She adds that ERA’s global platform will help the company better address the evolving needs of Hong Kong buyers.

Chu adds that the expansion will enable APAC Realty to better serve clients seeking to diversify their property portfolios beyond Singapore. “The combination of global consistency and local insight will drive our success across the region,” he says.
