Bangsaen, a beach town on Thailand’s eastern Gulf coast, is currently an overlooked haven. The township in Chonburi province - located an hour’s drive away from Pattaya, and 1.5 hours from metropolitan Bangkok - is part of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), which the Thailand government has invested USD$45 million in to transform the region into a leading Asean economic zone and hub for tech, manufacturing and service industries.

Home to this up-and-coming town will be Centro Condo Bangsaen, with 304 units across eight storeys. Set on a freehold site of 2 rai (34,445 sq ft), the project is scheduled to be built in April, with completion expected by end-2021 or early 2022.

Located right in the heart of Bangsaen, the development is poised to reap the benefits of further infrastructure and accessibility development. The upcoming high speed rail, 15 minutes from the project, will link the locale to Bangkok and Pattaya, further improving connectivity for residents. This will cut travelling time to Bangkok to a mere 30 minutes.

An immediate perk from all the ongoing transformation is the upside value that Centro Condo Bangsaen will offer to potential buyers. Priced from THB1.99 million, homeowners will get to choose from a selection of one- to-two bedroom units, as well as dual-key apartments. At such an attractive price point, investors are bound to be able to enjoy greater capital upside in the future.

With the dual-key units, homeowners can enjoy full privacy from renting out the studio unit, while living in the separate unit. They can also opt to rent out the whole unit for a higher rental income.

Owners at Centro Condo Bangsaen can expect to receive 6% gross rental yields per annum, says joint venture developers - Singapore-based ABN Holdings and its Thai partner, Triple S 2019.

Adding to that is the development’s strategic location, which is within close proximity to amenities. It is just across the road from one of the more established malls, Laem Thong Department Store, and 400m away from Burapha University, ranked among the 10 most popular universities in Thailand in 2019.

Facilities at the condo will also include a co-working space, adding convenience to young working professionals who wish to work from their residence.

With Bangsaen set to draw more footfall and tourists in the future, it is an opportune time to own a unit at Centro Condo Bangsaen. Priced from THB1.99 million, interested parties can call or email to find out more.
