Buyers flocked to city fringe in November

Developer sales took off in November on the back of plum launches at the city-fringe. Buyers snapped up 759 private homes from developers in November, 39% higher than in October and 79% higher year-on-year.

The Poiz Residences by MCC Land was the top-performing project in November with 277 units sold at a median price of $1,440 psf. CapitaLand’s Sky Vue took the second spot with 59 units sold at a median price of $1,522 psf, followed by UOL Group’s Principal Garden with 45 units sold $1,626 psf median price. CapitaLand has released an additional 164 units for sale at Sky Vue following its launch in September 2013. 

Developers launched a total of 734 new private homes in November, of which 85% or 621 units were in the city-fringe, followed by 15% or 109 units inthe mass market segment.

Separately, developers sold 186 executive condominiums in November. City Developments Limited sold 33 units at The Brownstone at a median price of $821 psf. Sol Acres trailed closely with 24 units sold at a median price of $780 psf. No new ECs were launched in November.
