SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - CanningHill Piers, a 696-unit development located between Fort Canning Hill and Singapore River, is set to launch in Q42021. (See also: Value buys among Singapore properties: Aug 1 to 13)

The development, by joint developers CapitaLand and City Developments Ltd (CDL), will feature two residential towers. One of them is 48 storeys at 180m tall, which the developers say will be the tallest residential development along the Singapore River. The other tower of 24 storeys overlooks Fort Canning Hill, and is 100m in height.

Unit types range from one- to five-bedders, Sky Suites, and a penthouse unit, of sizes from 410 to 8,950 sq ft.

The two residential towers will be connected by a sky bridge on Level 24, which will also host a wide range of lifestyle facilities such as the Sky Gym, Infinity Lap Pool, Sky Gourmet, Flexi Lounge and Function Room, offering unobstructed views of Fort Canning Hill, Singapore River, the CBD, Marina Bay and beyond.

The development will be linked directly to Fort Canning MRT Station on the Downtown Line, and will be right beside F&B and lifestyle destination Clarke Quay.

The residence will be part of an integrated development that includes commercial components, with F&B and retail outlets, a hotel and a serviced residence. The hotel will operate under the Moxy brand by Marriott International, while the serviced residence with a hotel licence will be managed by Somerset.

Slated for completion in 2025, CanningHill Piers is designed by Danish architecture firm Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) led by Bjarke Ingels, which is behind developments such as 8 House in Copenhagen and Via 57 West in New York. BIG is also the design architect for CapitaSpring, a soon-to-be-completed 51-storey integrated development by CapitaLand Group in Singapore’s Raffles Place CBD.
