Tan Choon Siang, who is currently the deputy CEO of the company, will be appointed CEO and executive non-independent director of the company from May 1.
CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust (CICT) has made changes to the composition of its board with the appointment of Tan Choon Siang as CEO and current CEO Tony Tan as CCO of CapitaLand Development, according to a bourse filing on March 17.
Tan Choon Siang, who is currently the deputy CEO of the company will be appointed to the role of CEO and executive non-independent director of the company as from May 1, 2025. He will also be appointed as a member of the executive committee (EC).
Current CEO Tony Tan will cease to be an executive non-independent director of the company and a member of the EC. He will be appointed chief corporate officer of CapitaLand Development. Tan has served as CEO and executive director for CICT since 2017.

He led the merger of CapitaLand Mall Trust and CapitaLand Commercial Trust in 2020 to create CICT, Singapore’s largest listed REIT with a market capitalization of $15.5 billion.
The incoming CEO Tan was previously the manager of CapitaLand Malaysia Trust since 2022, and the chief financial officer of the manager of CapitaLand India Trust . He was also formerly the Head of Corporate Finance & Treasury at Ascendas-Singbridge, which merged with CapitaLand in 2019.
