Christie’s International Real Estate says it has expanded its presence in Asia with the addition of two affiliates in Japan and Thailand. This announcement follows the release of Christie’s ‘Luxury Defined Market Report’ earlier this year, which showed growth opportunities in Thailand and Japan.

Japan Capital Realty, operating in Greater Tokyo and Kyoto, will tap into demand from local and international high net-worth individuals and institutions seeking to sell or acquire luxury homes in Japan or abroad. Richmond Luxury Real Estate, Christie’s first representative broker in Thailand, is Bangkok’s luxury market leader for over 15 years, says Christie’s.

The Copper House on Sentosa is part of Christie’s luxury portfolio in Singapore. Christie’s will be looking into other priority markets in the region for 2018, says Dan Conn, CEO of Christie’s International Real Estate.
