SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - LHN Group’s co-living brand Coliwoo has announced it will launch a mixed-use development within a set of two-storey shophouses along Lavender Street and Serangoon Road by next quarter. The space, called Coliwoo Lavender Collection, will be LHN’s sixth mixed-use development.

“The launch of Coliwoo Lavender Collection is a huge milestone for us as it is the first shophouse co-living lifestyle hub in our property portfolio,” says Kelvin Lim, executive chairman and executive director & group managing director of LHN Group.

Coliwoo Lavender Collection’s co-living space will comprise 105 units, located on the second floor. Units will have an en suite bathroom, a queen or single bed, a work desk and a smart TV, alongside housekeeping services. Meanwhile, the first floor will comprise lifestyle commercial stores.

The property is expected to attract young professionals, millennials and expats looking for “a lively space to live, work and socialise”, Coliwoo states in a press release. Members can also enjoy Coliwoo-exclusive special deals with the retail and F&B shops on the first floor.

Meanwhile, Coliwoo is also gearing up for the opening of Coliwoo 75BR, its property at 75 Beach Road. Originally slated for launch on May 1, the opening was pushed back to July 1 due to renovation delays caused by the pandemic. The 14,314 sq ft building will have 24 keys. It will also house LHN’s new headquarters across two floors.

Another Coliwoo property — Coliwoo Hotel Gay World at 115 Geylang Road — is set to open on Aug 1. The three-storey shophouse building has a gross floor area of 9,689 sq ft and will add 27 keys to the Coliwoo portfolio.

Coliwoo is launching more than 10 Coliwoo properties over the next two years, totalling 1,673 keys. These locations will span across the brand’s existing co-living concepts: Residences, serviced apartments and hotels.

LHN’s Lim says the group is currently exploring plans to launch more co-living concepts under Coliwoo. “There is no doubt that co-living is here to stay, given the myriad of benefits that the concept offers,” he remarks.
