Theo Novak has been appointed as managing director for capital markets, Asia Pacific (Apac), at Colliers. He succeeds Chris Pilgrim, who left the company in August of last year. 

Novak joins Colliers from JLL, where he spent nearly 15 years of his career. His most recent role at the firm was as executive director for Apac capital markets, based in Hong Kong. “Theo’s extensive track record in executing complex transactions and advising institutional clients aligns perfectly with Colliers’ commitment to delivering best-in-class investment solutions,” says Sam Harvey-Jones, Colliers’ COO for Apac, in a Jan 19 release.

Colliers also announced the appointment of Will Hamilton as executive director for international capital. Before this, Hamilton spent over a decade at JLL. He was previously based in Sydney, Australia, where he served as senior director and head of office leasing for New South Wales.

Novak and Hamilton’s appointments follow the recent expansion of Colliers’ Singapore capital markets team. In November 2025, Terry Wong joined as head of capital markets for Singapore while Alaric Yeo joined the team as director. Both Wong and Yeo were previously from JLL Singapore.

Separately, global professional services company Turner & Townsend has announced two senior leaders to its Asia leadership team. Jonathan Baker joins as managing director for energy and infrastructure, with the role based in Singapore. Meanwhile, Alex Katsanos has been appointed as head of advisory for Asia, with the role based in Hong Kong.
