A freehold conservation bungalow at 755 Mountbatten Road in the prime East Coast neighbourhood of District 15 is up for sale by expression of interest (EOI) with an asking price of $32 million.
The property sits on a land area of 21,327 sq ft, with a wide frontage of 29m and a depth of about 67m. The guide price of $32 million translates to $1,500 psf based on the land area. The site features the conserved bungalow, a bungalow extension zone, an interface zone between private and public spaces, and a setback area of 3m.
The bungalow is one of just 15 along Mountbatten Road that were built in the 1920s colonial style, which were gazetted for conservation by URA.

According to Jeremy Lim, executive group director of Huttons Asia Pte Ltd, the marketing agent for the property, the bungalow is within 800m of Katong Park MRT Station on the Thomson-East Coast Line and is in the vicinity of top schools, including Chung Cheng High School, Dunman High School, and Tanjong Katong Girls’ School.
The property was renovated in 2006, with the addition of a swimming pool and a two-storey extension. The house now has six bedrooms and a helper’s room. Prior to that, the property had been operating as Kim Wah Hotel in 1982
