Craig Beattie returns to Hongkong Land Holdings as CFO from Sept 2021

SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Hongkong Land Holdings has announced that Craig Beattie will replace Simon Dixon as CFO of the company when the latter steps down on Aug 31 this year. Beattie is currently CFO of Mandarin Oriental International, a company under the Jardine Matherson Group which includes Hongkong Land. Hongkong Land owns and manages more than 850,000 sq ft of prime office and luxury retail property in Hong Kong, Singapore, Beijing, and Jakarta. The company has residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects under development in cities across China and Southeast Asia.

Its subsidiary in Singapore is MCL Land, which is behind the development of Margaret Ville and Parc Esta, and is jointly developing Leedon Green with Yanlord Land. The developer partnered with City Developments (CDL) to win the bid for a government land tender at Northumberland Road in April 2021.

Beattie has been with Jardine Matheson since 2006 and has held senior finance roles across the group, including finance director for South Asia of Hongkong Land, group finance director of Jardine Motors Group in the UK, and group treasurer of Jardine Matherson. He has been CFO of Mandarin Oriental International since November 2018.
