SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Cushman & Wakefield has shifted its Singapore office to CapitaSpring in the CBD. Spanning 11,400 sq ft, the new office is located on the building’s 47th floor. The firm was previously located at Samsung Hub, on Church Street.

Matthew Bouw, CEO, Asia Pacific at Cushman & Wakefield, notes that Singapore is an important market for the group, serving as a central hub to service the real estate needs of investors and occupiers across Asia Pacific and globally. "We are proud to have built a large and successful business in Singapore with operations spanning close to 50 years and a current staff strength of 2,100," he states in a May 11 press release.
“Our new office with its prime business address within the CBD reflects our strong and rapidly growing reputation as a regional real estate services powerhouse and puts us at the heart of the business community where our local, regional and international clients are based,” says Anshul Jain, Cushman & Wakefield’s managing director, India and Southeast Asia.
Jain shares that the new space allows its employees to embrace “an activity-based hybrid way of working” that will foster better connectivity and collaboration, while also driving higher productivity and efficiencies. “It is also a ‘living brochure’ where our clients can see and experience the office of the future,” he adds. The new office space includes 80 workstations as well as functional work-points to support overflow during peak periods. It also has half its space dedicated to collaboration purposes, offering 17 meeting rooms and phone booths, as well as open spaces. To address the growing demand for flexibility at work, Cushman & Wakefield says the new office supports a fully tech-enabled environment that facilitates seamless connectivity as employees move between spaces and locations within the office.
The launch of the new office at CapitaSpring follows the opening of C&W Services' newly-transformed office at Viva Business Park last month. C&W Services is Cushman & Wakefield's facilities and engineering arm.
Jain notes that the new offices illustrate how the firm has adapted its real estate and occupancy strategies to align with the changes in the post-pandemic business environment. "We look forward to further growing our business in Singapore and the region and servicing more clients from this strategic hub,” he says.
