Developers sold 820 private homes in June, down 26.7% from 1,039 in May. The 26-unit Park 1 Suites in Geylang was the only new project launched in the month.

The best-selling private project was The Santorini that saw 75 sold at a median price of $1,026 psf. This was followed closely by Parc Riviera (55 units sold at a median price of $1,218 psf) and Commonwealth Towers (47 units at a median price of $1,899 psf).

In the executive condominium segment, 244 units were sold in June. Sol Acres topped the chart with 41 units sold at a median price of $829 psf. The Visionaire trailed with 35 units sold at a median price of $811 psf, followed by Signature at Yishun with 30 units at $757 psf.

Desmond Sim, CBRE’s head of Singapore and Southeast Asia research, attributes the increase in buyer interest in the top-selling projects to factors such as the recent bullish land bids by local and foreign developers on sites released under the Government Land Sales programme, as well as the lack of new launches in June.
