Frasers Hospitality, a division of Frasers Centrepoint, will open 48 properties across Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa by 2019, including debuts in 21 new cities.

In Europe, Frasers Hospitality is set to open its first properties in Berlin and Hamburg, Germany, as well as acquire Maritim Hotel Dresden under Frasers Hospitality Trust.

Frasers Hospitality recently acquired and rebranded four boutique hotels in the UK — Avon Gorge Hotel, Magdalen Chapter, Montpellier Chapter and Hotel Seattle. These hotels, together with two new properties, will add up to a total of 35 Malmaison and Hotel du Vin properties in the UK.

In view of strong demand in the Middle East, Frasers Hospitality will increase its portfolio there from four to 11 properties. Later this year, the opening of Fraser Suites Abuja in Nigeria will mark Frasers Hospitality’s venture into a fourth continent, Africa.

Meanwhile, openings in Asia will constitute half of the 48 properties in the pipeline, including Frasers Hospitality’s first serviced residence in Gurgaon, India. The 85-unit Fraser Place Gurgaon is scheduled to open in 2017.

In China, Frasers Hospitality will open the 345- unit Modena by Fraser Changsha in 2016, and the 259-unit Fraser Suites Dalian Europark and 174-unit Fraser Place Nanchang by 2017. Frasers Hospitality is looking for more openings in key cities such as Shanghai, Shenzhen and Chengdu.

Frasers Hospitality has a global portfolio of 139 properties and 22,800 keys across 80 cities, including those in the pipeline.
