SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Frasers Property Retail is deploying 36 electric vehicle (EV) charging points across its network of 12 malls in Singapore in two phases. The first phase will be rolled out by September at eight malls including Waterway Point in Punggol.

Working with service providers SP Group, Tesla and Charge+, the green mobility arm of Singaporean clean energy solutions provider Sunseap, Frasers Property Retail will install up to five EV charging points at each mall, enabling drivers to fully charge their vehicles in 30 minutes.

“The availability and accessibility of charging stations is key to greater adoption of EVs, especially when drivers can enjoy the added convenience of charging their vehicles on fast EV chargers when they go about their daily routine,” says Frasers Property Retail’s chief operating officer Tan Kee Yong. “Our wide network of suburban malls will provide electric car drivers with this flexibility, allowing us to play a part in the shift towards green mobility under the Singapore Green Plan 2030.”
