Freehold food factory on Genting Road for sale at $38 mil

A newly completed food factory located at 25 Genting Road is up for sale by private treaty. The freehold four-storey building has an asking price of $38 million, according to CBRE, the property’s marketing agent.

The factory occupies 10,526 sq ft of land zoned for Business 1 or light industrial use. Purpose-built for food production, it contains 13 units and has a total gross floor area (GFA) of 26,287 sq ft. Based on the GFA, the asking price works out to $1,446 psf.

The food factory features include a ceiling height of approximately 5m, a floor loading capacity of 10 kilonewtons per sq m and food-ready provisions such as liquified petroleum gas connections, kitchen exhaust ducts, two-service lifts and one passenger lift.

The factory is located within the Kallang industrial precinct.  “25 Genting Road is a newly completed and operation-ready facility that offers food operators the opportunity to establish a long-term presence in one of the most sought-after industrial zones in the city fringe,” says Graeme Bolin, CBRE Singapore’s head of occupier and leasing for industrial and logistics services.
