Singapore-listed property developer GSH Corporation has unveiled its first ocean-front residential project. The 460-unit Coral Bay is a luxury condominium in the gated community of Sutera Harbour Resort, in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. About 100 units were released during a private preview event on May 12 and these have already been oversubscribed.

Coral Bay comprises eight 12-storey residential towers. It consists of two- to four-bedroom units sized from 1,500 to 3,500 sq ft, dual-key units from 2,000 to 5,000 sq ft, and penthouses from 3,500 to 9,000 sq ft. Starting from RM2.3 million, the units are attractively priced to capture strong interest from locals and foreign investors.

Coral Bay is next to Sutera Harbour’s five-star Magellan Sutera Resort, and is close to Kota Kinabalu’s city centre. The development sits on a 528,000 sq ft site and has views of the South China Sea and the islands of the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park.

Kota Kinabalu is one of the fastest growing cities in Southeast Asia. It is experiencing a tourism boom, thanks to its natural attractions such as the marine parks, pristine beaches and Southeast Asia’s tallest mountain, Mount Kinabalu. “We envisage that Coral Bay will be attractive to owner-occupiers, investors and vacationers,” says Gilbert Ee, GSH’s CEO.
