GuocoLand has announced the opening of Lentor Modern mall in Lentor Hills estate. Spanning 90,000 sq ft, the suburban mall includes anchor tenants Cold Storage Fresh and Mulberry Learning pre-school, alongside other dining, lifestyle and essential services catering to residents of Lentor Hills, and the surrounding areas of Ang Mo Kio, Springleaf and Bright Hill.

The mall is the retail podium of GuocoLand’s integrated mixed-use development Lentor Modern, which also includes three 25-storey towers housing 605 residences. The development is connected to Lentor MRT station on the Thomson-East Coast Line.

Apartments at Lentor Modern, which first launched for sale in September 2022, were fully taken up by January 2025. The residential component of Lentor Modern obtained its Temporary Occupation Permit at the end of August 2025.

Besides Lentor Modern, Lentor Hills estate will see six other new private residential projects, three of which are by GuocoLand and its joint-venture partners: Lentor Hills Residences, Lentor Mansion and Lentor Central Residences. The three projects, which are fully sold, will introduce 1,608 residential units into the estate.

Valerie Wong, managing director for asset management at GuocoLand, notes that Lentor Modern mall provides a one-stop destination for visitors and people living in the north of Singapore. “Now, families can streamline their weekends — parents can shop for groceries, get a haircut or visit the gym while children attend enrichment classes, before gathering for a meal at one of the mall’s many eateries.”

F&B establishments at the mall include three new-to-market concepts: Japanese-Italian fusion restaurant Nolita, Tokyo-style burger joint Bunny’s, and Korean-inspired plant-based, pet-friendly cafe MERLE & Co. Other eateries include Tim Hortons, local mala hotpot chain A Hot Hideout and Jew Kit Hainanese Chicken Rice.

The mall also features lifestyle services such as Anytime Fitness and NK Hairworks, as well as enrichment centres such as an Aspire Hub and Cristofori Music Academy.

For Wong, the opening of Lentor Modern mall continues GuocoLand’s track record in shaping neighbourhoods, following projects such as Guoco Tower in Tanjong Pagar and Guoco Midtown at Beach Road. “Our next chapter is Lentor Hills, with our four successful residential projects and now, with the opening of Lentor Modern, to become the dynamic heart of the community — a place designed for everyday needs and quality leisure time with family.”
