Tinderbox Landscape Studio spearheaded the landscaping for Hillhaven, creating an elevated landscape desk inspired by the tropical rainforest and nearby green corridors. With more than 50% of the site dedicated to green and blue spaces, the development weaves nature and sustainability into everyday living.

The elevated landscape deck, located on the fourth storey, features a 50m lap pool framed by tree canopies. Fitness and wellness are central to the development, offering facilities including an outdoor gym, a kids’ pool, and a rock climbing wall. Meanwhile, the lounge decks, function rooms, and two barbecue pavilions are designed as social spaces, suited for informal gatherings and community events.
Multiple themed gardens are also integrated into the development. A forest trail garden, herb garden and wellness lawn offer calm spaces, providing residents opportunities to unwind within natural surroundings.

Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the open green spaces and water features also provide passive cooling by reducing surface heat, fostering a comfortable microclimate while supporting biodiversity across the site.
The development’s nature-inspired concept continues inside the residential units, which feature a palette of neutral tones complemented by warm textures. Hillhaven offers a mix of two- to four-bedroom units, measuring 678 sq ft to 1,636 sq ft.
Each unit incorporates thoughtful passive design elements, including full-height low-emissivity glass and generous window openings that maximise natural daylight and facilitate cross-ventilation, reducing reliance on air conditioning.

All units are also equipped with smart appliances, including hobs, hoods, ovens, and water heaters, that can be controlled via a mobile app. This allows residents to manage their home appliances remotely while supporting energy efficiency. A built-in lighting control module and smart air-conditioning controls further facilitate both personalised comfort and sustainable living.
The development is expected to attain BCA’s Green Mark Platinum Super Low Energy (SLE) upon its completion, slated for 2027.
Beyond its verdant landscapes, the development provides good connectivity and accessibility. Hillhaven is within a four-minute walk of Hillview MRT Station on the Downtown Line and is close to several bus stops, offering residents easy commutes within the city. The development is also located near two major expressways, the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) and the Pan Island Expressway (PIE).
