Formerly Regent Singapore and jointly owned by Pontiac Land Group and Kajima Development, the hotel will undergo significant refurbishment and is set to open in two phases. The first phase will be completed on Jan 1 next year, and the hotel’s meeting spaces and its 10 restaurants and bars, including Manhattan, Basilico and Summer Palace, will be opened to guests. The hotel will open fully in the second phase in 1Q2024 after extensive room refurbishments have been completed.

“Post-refurbishment, the hotel will offer a sophisticated luxury appealing to both business and leisure travellers,” says Nils-Arne Schroeder, vice-president of luxury at Hilton Asia Pacific.

“We are delighted to expand our relationship with Hilton through the new Conrad Singapore Orchard following two decades of partnership with Conrad Centennial Singapore,” says David Tsang, CEO of Pontiac Land Group.

Tsang believes the hotel’s distinct dining concepts, refreshed design aesthetics and world-class service will be further elevated through the Conrad brand.

The announcement of Conrad Singapore Orchard comes on the back of two recent signings that will see the Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand's debut in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Nagoya, Japan. Conrad Kuala Lumpur is slated to open next year, marking the brand’s debut in Malaysia, while Conrad Nagoya, the city’s first, will open in 2026.
