A 1,130 sq ft five-room HDB flat at Pinnacle @ Duxton fetched $1.04 million on July 25, making it the sixth five-room flat transaction that crossed the $1 million mark in the project this year. The high-floor unit is located at 1D Cantonment Road that was completed in 2011. This transaction followed the most expensive HDB transaction this year when a 1,151 sq ft five-room flat at the same block was sold for $1.07 million on June 22.
The highest price ever paid for a five-room flat was $1,088,000 for a 1,151 sq ft flat at Pinnacle @ Duxton in November 2015. Pinnacle @ Duxton is a public housing development at 1 Cantonment Road. The seven tower blocks in the 1,848-unit project are joined by two sky gardens on the 26th and 50th storeys that offer panoramic views of the city. It is within 500m from the Tanjong Pagar MRT station of the East-West Line. The only school within 1km is Cantonment Primary School.
