Tony Lombardo, the group CEO of Australian developer Lendlease Group, will be joining Frasers Property as group COO. In a March 9 announcement, Frasers Property says Lombardo’s appointment will take effect on Oct 1. Based in Singapore, he will report to Frasers Property's group CEO Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi.

Lombardo joins Frasers Property after 18 years at Lendlease, including the last five years as Lendlease’s group CEO and managing director. Last month, Lendlease announced that Lombardo would be stepping down in August and relocating to Southeast Asia to take on a new career opportunity. The group added that it was currently searching for a new group CEO.

In its release, Frasers Property says that Lombardo will lead group investments and Frasers Property Capital, with a mandate to drive cross-portfolio optimisation, enterprise-wide synergies and disciplined capital deployment.  He will also help strengthen coordination across the group’s major platforms and key markets, including industrial and logistics, as well as the group’s Australia and UK businesses.

“Tony’s leadership and expertise across strategy, finance, investments and capital management and operations will strengthen our leadership team and accelerate the execution of our strategic priorities,” says Sirivadhanabhakdi. "His appointment will further enhance our execution capability, sharpen capital execution discipline and support the Group’s continued growth across markets.”

The announcement of Lombardo's appointment comes eight months after Anthony Boyd, Frasers Property's former group COO, stepped down in July 2025 after over two decades at the company. He was appointed as group COO in February 2024.

"Frasers Property has built a strong, diversified portfolio, underpinned by a clear strategy and long-term growth ambitions," says Lombardo. "I am excited to contribute to the next phase of the group’s strategic transformation by strengthening execution, deepening collaboration and unlocking sustainable value across the business."
