SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - CBRE has appointed Luke Moffat as regional managing director, head of advisory & transaction services, Asia Pacific. He succeeds Manish Kashyap, who has moved on to a senior leadership role in CBRE as global president, advisory & transaction services.

In his new position, Moffat will oversee a team of more than 2,000 CBRE real estate professionals in the Asia Pacific region that covers 15 regional markets and commercial real estate sectors including office, retail, industrial & logistics supply chain, data centres, workplace strategy and consulting. Moffat was previously CBRE’s regional managing director, Eastern China and head of advisory & transaction services, Greater China. He will relocate from Shanghai to Singapore as part of his promotion.
His 20-year track record in commercial real estate includes a previous position as director at BlackRock in Singapore where he led the leasing and marketing of Asia Square, one of the largest mixed-use developments in Asia.
