Manchester development Excelsior Works to be launched for sale in Singapore

Excelsior Works, a development in Castlefield, Manchester, was launched in Singapore over the weekend of Oct 21 and 22. Savills Singapore is the marketing agent for the property here.

Located adjacent to the Bridgewater Canal, the project is a redevelopment of Excelsior Mill, former printing and book binding works at Hulme Hall Road. The eight-storey project is developed by Mulbury City, and designed by Manchester-based practice Tim Groom Architects.

The 108-unit Excelsior Works comprises one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with floor-to-ceiling windows.

In the current release, sizes for one-bedroom units start from 501 sq ft, two-bedroom units from 671 sq ft, and three-bedroom units are sized at 1,127 sq ft. Prices of one-bedroom and two-bedroom units start from ‎£220,000 ($393,660) and ‎£260,000 respectively. Three-bedroom units are priced at £475,000.

According to Savills, Excelsior Works is located within walking distance of Manchester’s Central Business District and MediaCityUK, home of the BBC. The project is expected to be completed in 3Q2019.
