SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Pan Pacific Hotels Group says that it has a pipeline of 13 new properties that it plans to launch over the next three years. The hotel group has already opened two new hotels this year. These were PARKROYAL Monash Melbourne in April and Pan Pacific London in September.

Singapore-listed real estate group UOL Group is the parent company of Pan Pacific Hotels Group.

The new properties are spread across 10 cities, including London, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Dalian, Hanoi, Phnom Penh, and Siem Reap. The additions will add more than 3,300 rooms to the hotel group’s inventory and the expanded footprint will bring Pan Pacific’s global portfolio to 48 hotels, resorts, and serviced suites across 26 cities.

“We recognise that the world is saddled with the crisis of the Covid-19 pandemic. However, in the long run, businesses and economies will be reignited through various measures. Travel for leisure and business will have to resume. The hospitality industry will recover,” says Choe Peng Sum, CEO, Pan Pacific Hotels Group.

The pipeline inventory will ensure that Pan Pacific is well-positioned to take advantage of the returning hotel demand, he adds.

One of the upcoming hotel properties is PARKROYAL COLLECTION Kuala Lumpur, which is expected to open in June 2022. The hotel will reflect the biophilic green design that reflects the PARKROYAL COLLECTION brand, and it will feature 13,000 sq ft of plants, trees, and vegetation. The hotel property will also connect to the existing Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Kuala Lumpur.

Other new openings in Malaysia in 2022 include the expansion of the PARKROYAL resorts portfolio in Langkawi and Malacca.

Pan Pacific will also open three hospitality properties in Jakarta in Indonesia over the next three years. These are PARKROYAL Jakarta, PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Jakarta, and Pan Pacific Jakarta. In Singapore, the refreshed Pan Pacific Orchard is also set to open in 4Q2022.
