Philip Yeo Liat Kok, non-independent and non-executive director of City Developments, is stepping down from his role.
His resignation will take effect on July 31.
78-year-old Yeo, a former top civil servant, was first appointed to the board in May 2009.
Yeo was notably on the side of executive chairman Kwek Leng Beng when the board had its disputes earlier this year.
"The board and management would like to extend their great appreciation for Mr Yeo's 16 years of distinguished service and his valuable contributions during his tenure of service as a director," reads CDL's filing to the stock exchange.
