The tower, which is designed by Singapore’s oldest architectural firm, Swan & Maclaren Architects, was also created to integrate seamlessly with Pearl’s Hill City Park. Here, the project features heavy green accents — from its landscaped grounds on the first floor to the podium, sky terraces and rooftop terrace.

ZACD Group, together with its partners SSLE Development and MCC Singapore, won the tender for the collective sale in May 2018. The consortium also oversaw the development of the new project.

Flexibility is key

At The Landmark, units are designed with flexibility in mind, amid the current trend of working from home.

Rebecca Chia, director of Swan & Maclaren Architects and the lead architect for the 99-year-leasehold project, says the units have the flexibility to be reconfigured. These units come with a regular layout in a bid to optimise space, as well as maximise light and ventilation in the interiors, she adds.

This includes the balconies for the units, which serve as an outdoor space, as well as an extension of the interiors.

Living the park life

When completed, the development will offer about 60 facilities on five different floors. These include the 50m infinity pool and children’s waterpark on the second floor; a jacuzzi, steam room and gardens on the 14th floor; as well as a café, sky lounge and porticos overlooking the city skyline on the 34th floor. It will also have a side-gate that gives residents access to Pearl’s Hill City Park itself.

Set to obtain its temporary occupation permit in March 2025, The Landmark has a total of 396 units comprising one- to three-bedroom apartments measuring between 495 sq ft and 1,141 sq ft.
