UK-based international property company Strawberry Star will preview a new residential project in London to Singapore investors. This will take place over the weekend of August 25 and 26 at the St. Regis Hotel Singapore. The project, called The Makers, is a 175-unit residential development with co-located college in London’s Shoreditch area.

The new development is a collaborative project between the London Borough of Hackney, the Local Education Partnership and design-led developers, Londonewcastle. Strawberry Star is marketing the project in Singapore.

“Shoreditch has become the go-to destination for many of London’s most respected creatives, designers and tech-savvy entrepreneurs,” says Doris Tan, regional director at Strawberry Star. The area has many restaurants, bars, and private members’ clubs, and the new development is ideal for buy-to-let investors and owner-occupiers, she says.

The Makers includes an interconnected podium and 28-storey residential tower, which houses five studio flats, 155 two- and three-bedroom apartments, and 9 three-bedroom family duplexes with private roof gardens. There are 425-430 sq ft Studios from £610,000 ($1.07 million), one-bedroom units at 560-947 sq ft from £685,000; 828-1,851 sq ft two-bedders from £1.05 million, and 1,195 - 1,485 sq ft three-bedders from £1.35 million. The three-bedroom family duplexes are from 1,367 - 2,271 sq ft.

Services will include a 24/7 concierge for secure mail and delivery services, and facilities like a screening room, two landscaped garden terraces, a treatment room, and three lounges. The ground floor will also include two commercial units which will provide educational services.

The development is a five minute walk to Old Street Station, and a less than 20 minute walk to Angel Islington and Liverpool Street stations. It is also within 30 minutes’ travel time to the West End, and Canary Wharf.
