SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Surbana Jurong Group, a global infrastructure and management services consulting firm, has announced a new partnership with Atelier Ten, an international environmental design consultancy specialising in sustainable and innovative design solutions.

Atelier Ten joins Surbana Jurong’s family of specialist consulting firms as its ninth member company, and the partnership will provide Atelier Ten with greater scale, resources, and capabilities to accelerate the impact of sustainable design, says Surbana Jurong.

The move is in line with the group’s focus on building up its sustainability services and adds to the group’s overall service expertise which includes architecture, design, engineering, facilities management, and security services.

“[This] announcement demonstrates Surbana Jurong’s commitment to help clients design high-performance, sustainable buildings and smart infrastructures that conserve energy and resources. With every project, we are spurred by the challenge of doing more with less. Together with Atelier Ten, we can unlock even greater value from our sustainability solutions,” says Surbana Jurong Group CEO Wong Heang Fine.

The partnership will strengthen Surbana Jurong’s presence in the US and European markets, and provide better access and knowledge sharing across different markets, says the group. It adds that this move will also open more collaborative projects for both companies in the future.

Atelier Ten and Surbana Jurong have successful collaborations in Singapore, such as Jewel Changi Airport, one of the world’s largest air-conditioned gardens that balances the competing demands of abundant heat and light for plants. They are also involved in the Mandai rejuvenation project.
