TEE International announced on Dec 12 that it secured about $65 million worth of new engineering contracts – between September and November. The contracts bring its total outstanding order book to approximately $318 million as at Dec 12.

Of the contracts awarded, one involves addition and alteration works for the Ministry of Health’s College of Medicine Building at Outram Park. This includes conservation works of the national monument, says TEE International, and is expected to be completed by 1H2018.

Another contract involves “providing complex engineering services for the development of a 51-storey commercial building in the CBD”, says Phua. The said property sits at Market Street, Chulia Street and Church Street, and TEE International is slated to complete its works on the property by end-2020.

In response to the government’s push for productivity in construction, TEE International has set up a task force to develop Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) technologies in the areas of Modular Prefabricated M&E systems and Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC).
