Private luxury home exchange club for second-home owners, ThirdHome, has appointed Julian Sedgwick as business development director of Southeast Asia and Brooke Ashton Carvalho as head of product.

Based in Singapore, Sedgwick is expected to expand the club’s regional presence in Southeast Asia and grow its global portfolio of homes through forging partnerships with luxury resort developers, branded residences and second-home owners.

Sedgwick brings more than 25 years of experience in international real estate, investment structuring and cross-border transactions. During the course of his career, Sedgwick facilitated more than US$5.5 billion ($6.96 billion) in global residential property deals and built a network of over 200 family offices and ultra-high-net-worth investors across Asia Pacific.

According to the company, ThirdHome is the world’s largest private travel club for luxury second-home owners. It currently boasts more than 30,000 properties over more than 100 countries, offering its members access to a global network of homes, resorts and yachts without the cost of nightly rental rates.
