SevenCapital, one of the largest privately owned real estate investment and development companies in the UK, is bringing two of its luxury residential developments to Singapore. Both properties are located in Birmingham and will be showcased over the weekend of April 28 and 29 at the Regent Hotel.

The first property is the 214-unit Broadway Residences, a prime city centre residential development which is already completed. It comprises one- and two-bedroom apartment units, and is nearly fully occupied. The ten-storey development has a gym and 24h concierge. It is located in Birmingham’s main retail and entertainment district and close to the main business district which is the largest financial and professional hub outside London. Major commercial developments nearby include HSBC’s new UK headquarters at Arena Central, and the £700 million Paradise development, as well as Brindleyplace, Arena Birmingham, and Deutsche Bank.

Prices for one-bedroom units start from £179,950 ($333,044), while prices for a two-bedroom unit start from £269,950. “Broadway Residences presents a rare ready-made investment opportunity within the UK’s youngest and fastest growing city”, says John Treacy, international sales director at Seven Capital. Investors have the opportunity to start reaping rewards almost immediately, he adds.

Another property which will be showcased is the 63-unit CopperBox. The luxury residential development is located in Harborne Village, a highly sought-after suburb of Birmingham that has been named one of UK’s best places to live by The Times. CopperBox is set to complete in December and comprises studio and one-bedroom apartments, including eight top-floor penthouse-style apartments. It also has 18 dedicated parking spaces, which is a rarity in the area. Studio apartments are priced from £174,950, while the cost of a one-bedder starts from £207,950.

Situated in a prime position along Harborne’s high street, the development is close to local amenities, F&B, and retail offerings. It will be served by the High Speed 2 railway, which is set to be operational in 2026. “Harborne’s close proximity to the University of Birmingham and Queen Elizabeth Hospital also makes it an attractive proposition for medics, professors and students”, says Treacy.
