URA launches GLS sites at Holland Road and Dhoby Ghaut area

The Urban Redevelopment Authority has released two sites in the Confirmed List under the 2H2017 Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme.

The Holland Road site has a site area of 247,215 sq ft. It is zoned Commercial and Residential with a maximum gross floor area (GFA) of 642,767 sq ft, including 145,313 sq ft of retail space. It can yield an estimated 570 housing units.

Meanwhile, the 51,626 sq ft site on Handy Road, in the Dhoby Ghaut area, is zoned for residential use. It has a maximum GFA of 123,204 sq ft and could yield 130 units.

URA also released two residential sites at Mattar Road and Canberra Drive under the Reserve List.



The 67,061 sq ft site on Mattar Road has a maximum GFA of 201,188 sq ft and can yield an estimated 255 units. The Canberra Drive land parcel has an area of 440,044 sq ft and a maximum GFA of 616,062 sq ft. It can yield an estimated 765 units.

All the sites have a 99-year tenure. The tender for the Handy Road site will close on Jan 30, while the tender for Holland Road will close on Mar 20.
