Property highlights of the week from Oct 29 to Nov 2:


1. Price falls in September almost wipe out gains in previous month

Based on the September statistics from the Singapore Residential Price Index (SRPI) released by the National University of Singapore, the private residential housing market has not yet stabilised and is still finding “a clear direction”, says Nicholas Mak, executive director at ZACD Group. Three out of the four main indices decreased, based on transactions last month.

2. One Tree Hill Collection: A rare landed housing project in prime District 10

One Tree Hill Collection, a development comprising 14 houses by Singapore- listed construction and property group Lum Chang Holdings, is scheduled for launch soon. One Tree Hill Collection comprises 12 semi-detached houses and two bungalows. Construction work has begun and the houses are scheduled for completion in 1H2020.

3. Freehold coffee shop at Changi Road up for sale

A freehold corner 24-hour coffee shop at 44 & 46 Changi Road has been launched for sale via an expression of interest (EOI) exercise. It is a 10-minute walk away from Paya Lebar and Eunos MRT stations. It is also a 15-minute drive to the Central Business District, and is easily accessible to other parts of Singapore via Pan Island Expressway and Kallang Paya Lebar Expressway.

4. Three GLS sites launched for sale in Newton, Tampines and Marina Bay

The government has released three sites for sale under the 2H2018 Government Land Sales (GLS) programme. Two are residential sites under the confirmed list — one is an executive condominium (EC) site on Tampines Ave 10, and the other is located on Kampong Java Road. The third is a white site at Marina View and is on the reserve list.
