With a people-centric leadership style rooted in trust and connection, Wendeline Goh believes that strong relationships are the foundation of sustainable success in real estate. Central to her approach is understanding each teammate’s strengths — and recognising that everyone is at a different stage in their business journey.
“Being people-centric, I focus a lot on people and building strong relationships,” says Goh.
In her mentorship approach, Goh tailors her guidance to each individual by identifying their natural strengths and aligning them with where they are in their real estate career. To support this, she incorporates personality assessments to help teammates better understand themselves and, in turn, attract like-minded clients.
“My teammates find that this approach works,” she explains. “It boosts their confidence, which then gives clients greater clarity and confidence when making decisions.”
Rather than spoon-feeding solutions, Goh adopts a guiding mentorship style that empowers her team to think independently. “I share strategies and let them come to their own decisions,” she says. “Beyond hard skills, soft skills such as mindset, ethics and values are just as important.”

Having spent years in corporate sales at a multinational company before transitioning into real estate, Goh understands the importance of adaptability in a constantly shifting market. Each year brings new challenges and opportunities — from residential launches performing strongly one year to commercial segments gaining traction the next.
“The market is always changing,” she notes. “That’s why it’s important to equip teammates with the right strategies and skillsets, so they can build consistency and sustain their income over time.”
For Goh, mentorship is also about paying it forward. She sees her role as not only helping her team grow their business, but also improving their lives.
“Real estate is not about quick, one-off wins,” she says. “It’s about building on your strengths, doing the right things consistently, and learning how to multiply and grow your business — so you can positively impact your teammates and their families.”
By helping her team achieve financial growth, Goh aims to nurture personal development. “When people feel seen, trusted and supported, they perform better. They then step up as leaders themselves and pay it forward,” she adds. “Seeing them close meaningful deals and help others reassures me that I’m on the right path.”

This philosophy aligns naturally with her involvement in the ERA EmpowHer initiative, which she views as a meaningful extension of her role as a leader and mentor. The platform provides women with a supportive space to share experiences, learn from one another, and feel less alone in their journeys.
“Women play multiple roles every day,” Goh reflects. “EmpowHer isn’t just about success or being on top — it’s about improving lives, supporting mental well-being, helping others grow, and bouncing back from setbacks.”
She hopes the initiative will inspire a paradigm shift, empowering women to recognise their self-worth, contribute meaningfully in their own arenas, and make a difference.
As a female adviser, Goh believes confidence and credibility come from preparation and mastery. “Know your business,” she says. With constant training, staying ahead of industry trends, and a data-driven approach to analysing market movements, she ensures her clients receive informed and thoughtful recommendations — grounded in both expertise and trust.
