The company will begin “a recruitment process to appoint a new group managing director shortly”, according to Knight Frank Singapore.

Tang had joined Knight Frank Singapore in April 2019. Prior to that, Tang had spent five years with Malaysian construction and development company, Beverly Group, a subsidiary of Singapore-registered Qingdao Investments.

Her recent stint as group managing director marked the third time Tang joined Knight Frank Singapore over the course of her 30-year career in the real estate industry. The last time she was with Knight Frank was from 2010 to 2013, where she was executive director and head of residential services. The first time Tang joined Knight Frank was in 1997, where she was senior manager of residential for project sales and consultancy until 2000.

As group managing director, Tang has spent the last three years focused on improving Knight Frank Singapore’s systems and processes, particularly with respect to corporate services, according to the firm. She had also been involved in developing various businesses in the last three years. “Much of Wendy’s tenure as group managing director has been influenced by Covid-19 and the accompanying economic slowdown,” according to the announcement.

“We would like to thank Wendy for helping to navigate the business through the various constraints encountered during this period,” said Danny Yeo, Knight Frank Singapore executive chairman.  We appreciate Wendy’s contributions to Knight Frank Singapore and wish her well in her future endeavours.”
