District 23 covers Choa Chu Kang, Bukit Batok, Hillview and Bukit Panjang.

This district is served by North-South Line via Bukit Batok, Bukit Gombak and Choa Chu Kang MRT stations. There will be three upcoming MRT stations, Hillview, Cashew and Bukit Panjang of the Downtown Line, which are expected to operate by the end of 2015.

A notable landmark is the Bukit Batok Town Park, also known as Little Guilin as it bears a resemblance to Guilin in China with a granite rock sitting within a lake.

Shopping malls in these areas include Bukit Panjang Plaza, Junction 10, West Mall, Lot One Shoppers’ Mall and the upcoming Hillion Mall, which is expected to operate in 2018. There is also a stretch of restaurants and cafes at The Rail Mall, offering a variety of dining options.

Schools in the district include Bukit Panjang Primary School, Beacon Primary School, West Spring Primary School, St. Anthony’s Primary School and Concord Primary School.

Northvale, Palm Gardens, Maysprings and Regent Heights are some of the private projects in this district.
