Buyers and tenants are attracted to District 7, which consists of Beach Road, Bugis, the Golden Mile, Middle Road and Rochor areas. Home buyers looking for Bugis properties can choose from a small selection of HDB flats off Middle Road, at Bras Basah Complex and at Rochor Centre. The private residential properties at Bugis are similarly scarce, with projects such as Duo Residences and Midtown Modern witnessing strong demand. Shopping and dining options abound in District 7, with many malls in the area including Bugis Junction and Bugis+. According to the Master Plan 2019, Orchard and Downtown will be rejuvenated as a lifestyle hub to include more mixed developments which offer live, work and play opportunities. New housing will be constructed in the Marina South Area with community facilities and amenities. Stage-6 of the Circle Line opening by 2025 will also enhance the Central Region's connectivity.

"Had an encounter with lady security guard who refused to let me use the lift to access carpark despite my handicap. Told her I could not take the stairs and she insisted I did not look handicap enough. Explained that I parked at the handicap lot and she insisted she will go down to verify that I indeed had a label for handicap parking. Totally devastating to have someone question my handicap status and have my integrity questioned!"

"We park at this building to go for a lunch. We requested to use the lift instead of the stairs as we had a wheelchair friend w us. But a lady security nag at us from the moment the lift door opens till we exit the main door. Strongly stress that we can't park at the building to go to restaurant. After lunch, while we make our entry back to the building lobby. She immediately stood up from her chair, follow us to the lift area and again remind us we are not supposed to use the building carpark as it will invite unnecessary covid exposure to people working in the building that use the lift. We had maintain our cool and do not want to have any verbal exchange with her but that did not stopped her from nagging. These encounters were witnessed by the male security who assisted in opening the basement door! It's very traumatising for the wheelchair friend to see such bad attitude n no sympathy during this pandemic. It's a real disappointment to park at this building. If public are inviting covid exposure and not welcoming to use the lift. Kindly display proper signage for notification or close the access of carpark for public usage."
