As a major financial and business hub, the Central Region stands as the dynamic city centre of Singapore. Spanning 13,150ha in land area, the region hosts Singapore's only UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to many of the country's national monuments, such as the Merlion Park and Statue of Raffles. Although the region is designated mainly for commercial activities, it houses residential developments ranging from HDBs to bungalows. There is also plenty of greenery in the region, linked by 19km of park connectors. According to the Master Plan 2019, Orchard and Downtown will be rejuvenated as a lifestyle hub to include more mixed developments which offer live, work and play opportunities. New housing will be constructed in the Marina South Area with community facilities and amenities. Stage-6 of the Circle Line opening by 2025 will also enhance the Central Region's connectivity.

"The predecessor of the Singaporean Lius Guild was the Pengchengtang Spring Festival Festival, which has a history of more than 100 years. Today, the Lius Guild was founded by Pengchengtang. After many sages, I will be in 1951. Officially registered as a clan association on the 22nd of the month. The first meeting place of my meeting was at No. 40, Aiwei Road, Saiyi. After a few years, due to the increasing membership, the club was not enough. In 1971, the fundraising club was on the 6th of Jiayu Road. Three years later, because the place was not suitable for the hall, I finally re-purchased A18, Lane 24, Geylang, today. After years of efforts by my parents, I will be thriving in business and celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Golden Jubilee in the first month of 2002. That night, we were very honored to invite Mr. Zeng Shisheng, the Minister of the Prime Ministers Office and Minister of Social Development and Sports, to be the guest of honor. This is the first time that I will hold a grand gathering of thousands of people at home and abroad. Good memories. In 2012, I will hold the 60th anniversary celebration. The guest of honor is the celebrity of Liu Yanling, a member of the Caihua Port Gathering District. Everyone celebrates a new milestone in a happy atmosphere."
