District 3 is currently served by the East-West Line at Tiong Bahru MRT Station, Redhill MRT Station and Queenstown MRT Station. It takes approximately 10 minutes or less to commute from these stations to the Central Business District at Raffles Place MRT Station. Tiong Bahru is famous for its local food fare at the renowned Tiong Bahru Market & Food Centre. District 3 also houses an eclectic mix of specialty shops and heartland malls such as the Queensway Shopping mall and Tiong Bahru Plaza. On top of that, the world’s largest home furnishing retailer, IKEA, is situated at Alexandra road in Queenstown.

Spanning 13,150ha in land area, the region hosts Singapore's only UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to many of the country's national monuments, such as the Merlion Park and Statue of Raffles. Although the region is designated mainly for commercial activities, it houses residential developments ranging from HDBs to bungalows. There is also plenty of greenery in the region, linked by 19km of park connectors. According to the Master Plan 2019, Orchard and Downtown will be rejuvenated as a lifestyle hub to include more mixed developments which offer live, work and play opportunities. New housing will be constructed in the Marina South Area with community facilities and amenities. Stage-6 of the Circle Line opening by 2025 will also enhance the Central Region's connectivity.

"I walked-in without any appointment around 5 o'clock on a Friday evening just to report a small traffic accident with my car. I was mesmerized by the superb way received by three different people but with the same attitude from Vantage Automotive. The attention I received was excellent! Kind of if I were a well known regular customer buying a luxurious new vehicle in cash, not some stranger bringing them a tedious paper work they would have to do free of charge. When a company culture is genuinely customer focused, no advertising is needed, the statement is ubiquitous in the attitude of its people. I mentioned 3 people in different positions, a very nice lady that came to open the door, as I arrived in the wrong department, then the gentleman that seemed to me to be the company director that kindly escorted me 2 storeys all the way down to the accident reporting desk, and finally Mr. Clement that demonstrated the utmost interest and customer service to create the accident report in refined detail, with drawings, pictures and filling-in all the particulars of the parties and vehicles involved. Furthermore, he gave a continued follow-up of each completed step of the process via WhatsApp messages over the subsequent days up to the reporting to my insurance company. The outcome of such a outstanding attitude is a guarantee of business flowing in to them. In my case, for sure Vantage became the first to come to mind when thinking of buying, repairing and servicing my vehicles or recommending to my friends and customers. Bravo to Mr. Clement! "After 6 bids, Sales manage NL refused to return deposit and claimed buyer wants to pull out from deal. After almost escalating , full refund was delivered. Very poor experience by Simdarby."
