Description
Waterloo Centre is a leasehold (unknown) commercial property. The development occupies a land area of 7,988 sqm and a Gross Floor Area of 15,222 sqm.

Waterloo Centre is located along Waterloo Street in Rochor, in District 7. It is accessible through the nearest MRTs including Bencoolen DT21 and Bras Basah CC2. Other nearby amenities include: 3 Grocerie(s): JEWISH WELFARE BOARD, SINGAPORE, THE, COLD STORAGE SINGAPORE (1983) PTE LTD, COLD STORAGE SINGAPORE (1983) PTE LTD, and 3 Shopping Mall(s): MANULIFE CENTRE, BRAS BASAH COMPLEX, Bugis+.

Buyers and tenants are attracted to District 7, which consists of Beach Road, Bugis, the Golden Mile, Middle Road and Rochor areas. Most of the properties in this district are commercial properties with a small selection of residential properties. Home buyers looking for Bugis properties can choose from a small selection of HDB flats off Middle Road, at Bras Basah Complex and at Rochor Centre. The private residential properties at Bugis are similarly scarce, with projects such as Duo Residences and Midtown Modern witnessing strong demand. Shopping and dining options abound in District 7, with many malls in the area including Bugis Junction and Bugis+. Many hotels such as the Intercontinental Singapore, Carlton Hotel and Raffles Hotel are located within the district or in close proximity to cater to tourists visiting the region.

As a major financial and business hub, the Central Region stands as the dynamic city centre of Singapore. Spanning 13,150ha in land area, the region hosts Singapore's only UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to many of the country's national monuments, such as the Merlion Park and Statue of Raffles. Although the region is designated mainly for commercial activities, it houses residential developments ranging from HDBs to bungalows. There is also plenty of greenery in the region, linked by 19km of park connectors. According to the Master Plan 2019, Orchard and Downtown will be rejuvenated as a lifestyle hub to include more mixed developments which offer live, work and play opportunities. New housing will be constructed in the Marina South Area with community facilities and amenities. Stage-6 of the Circle Line opening by 2025 will also enhance the Central Region's connectivity.

"I love the roof top on the 5th floor. It's a shame there's barely grass and a garden. Would be nice to have some greenery in the city."

"Went there in the evening. Most shops and businesses have already closed for the day. But there is one food court and a bike shop that are still opened. The bike shop looks well patronised. Bikes look impressive."

"Building kind of old and needs refurbishing. There are some renovation ongoing, making the place kind of messy. Hope after they're done, it will go back to its former glory."

"Clean and affordable foods. Although the sauce and chili is far from the original hence the chicken rice, charsiew and roasted pork is superb. The crackling sound in every bite comes out the juicy of the pork. And guess what it is not salty! That is what I like!"
