Spanning 13,150ha in land area, the region hosts Singapore's only UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to many of the country's national monuments, such as the Merlion Park and Statue of Raffles. Although the region is designated mainly for commercial activities, it houses residential developments ranging from HDBs to bungalows. There is also plenty of greenery in the region, linked by 19km of park connectors. According to the Master Plan 2019, Orchard and Downtown will be rejuvenated as a lifestyle hub to include more mixed developments which offer live, work and play opportunities. New housing will be constructed in the Marina South Area with community facilities and amenities. Stage-6 of the Circle Line opening by 2025 will also enhance the Central Region's connectivity.

"From my own personal experience as a resident here, I can tell you the way the place is managed is absolutely ridiculous. It all stems from the management, who are a small team of 4-5 arrogant, snobby, and power-wielding office staff. They know exactly the control and power they have, and they will flaunt it in your face like a huge middle finger. If you are ever considering staying here, think twice."

"Very good condominium complex to live.It had got all the amenities like gym, swimming pool and a convenience store. There is place for barbeque parties.I love this place."

"There simply aren't enough visitor lots on the surface. For example, Blk 1A and 1B share 6 surface lots, presumably for visitors, but residents use them too. SIX surface lots for visitors. For 2 entire blocks. Absolutely ludicrous. And if you go to the security post to ask them to give you access to the basement, if there's a surface lot on the OTHER END of the condominium complex, they'll instruct you to park there instead. Honestly, I'd give them just one star, but the condominium is actually quite nice so they get 1 additional star for that. They really have got to fix their parking situation or just let visitors park in the basement."

"With the Brighthill mrt opening, residences have a direct access to amenities at Thomson Plaza and in future, Orchard, Great World and Shenton are within easy reach. Great school like Ai Tong and St Nicolas are within 2km and there are future developments to enhance the Bishan Parks and the ex-school that has been vacanted."

"Beautifully manicured lawns. Plenty of butterflies and birds never seen before (humming birds, swifts). Very well maintained condo with many facilities like Basketball, Squash, tennis courts, sauna, jacuzzi,swimming pools, bbq pits. The Guards are very strict and take pride in their job. Thumbs up for security. A 5 star condo, children will love it there."
