Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group rebranded as Radisson Hotel Group

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group is rebranding to Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) with effect from March 5, announced the group at the International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF) in Berlin.

The rebranding is part of a five-year plan that will transform the business and position it to become the preferred choice for guests, owners, investors and talent. The new name capitalizes on the strong partnership between Radisson Hospitality, Inc. (formerly Carlson Hotels, Inc.) and Rezidor Hotel Group AB, who has master franchise agreements to develop and operate several brands across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Currently the 11th largest hotel group in the world, RHG is made up of eight hotel brands with more than 1,400 hotels in operation and under development. It has around 18,000 hotel rooms across the region and is looking to more than double this by adding a further 20,000 rooms.
