Inspired by the charm of its past, Meyer Mansion takes after the old bungalows that were once built along Meyer Road. Those homes were required to be set back at least 15m from the shore of the coastline, and were fronted by an expansive lawn of coconut and palm trees.

Designed for all walks of life
GuocoLand has designed the project to suit ever-changing lifestyle needs “throughout the different stages of your life”, says Chng. For instance, most of its three-bedroom units and above boast a flexi-room concept, with an extra room next to the living room that is separated by hackable walls.
To ease furnishing challenges, the developer ensured that the marble flooring is fitted beneath the hackable walls. This means that homeowners do not need to worry about looking for the same marble flooring should they wish to expand their living room. In most other developments, the walls are erected first before the flooring is fitted on, and when home buyers wish to tear down the walls to make more space, they face the issue of looking for tiles to match

The balconies at Meyer Mansion are also designed to accommodate the expanded space, and are shaded and deep, reminiscent of the tropical verandahs in the old bungalows. Residents have the option to draw the perforated screens for privacy and shade.
For timelessness and a classic look “that lasts through generations”, the units at Meyer Mansion are decked out in an earthy tone, adds Soh.
To encourage family bonding, the units feature an open-concept kitchen, placed right next to the dining area. For those who would prefer an enclosed space, the kitchen can also be sealed up with a partition or sliding door, says Soh.
Prime locality
As Meyer Mansion is located in the East Coast area, its residents can enjoy the locality’s laid-back charm, yet travel to the CBD within 10 minutes. Multiple routes via the East Coast Parkway or Nicoll Highway allow access to central locations such as Marina Bay, Suntec City and the Civic District. The upcoming Katong Park MRT Station, on the Thomson-East Coast Line, is a six-minute walk away.
Residents can also take respite in East Coast Park, situated a close distance to the development.
Meyer Mansion is also near a number of established education institutions. These include Etonhouse Preschool, Tao Nan School, Dunman High, Victoria Junior College and Canadian International School
