ERA appoints Raymond Leong as CTO

SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - APAC Realty, the Singapore-listed parent company of property agency ERA, has announced the appointment of Raymond Leong as its new chief technology officer (CTO). “The newly created position is part of ERA’s expansion plans to grow its technological competencies in the rapidly digitalising real estate sector,” the company states in a Sept 7 press release.

Prior to joining ERA, Leong spent eight years as director of enterprise technology at Zalora Group.

Marcus Chu, CEO of APAC Realty and ERA Asia Pacific, says the addition of a CTO to the senior leadership team reflects the company’s commitment to higher tech adoption. Recent tech rollouts at the firm include the SALES+ app to automate analytics for ERA’s agents and the RealtyWatch app for homebuyers to access real estate info and professional property advice.
