Frasers Hospitality opens Fraser Suites Akasaka in central Tokyo

Fraser Suites Akasaka has opened for business. Designed by renowned Hirsch-Bedner Associates, the luxury serviced residences comprises 224 rooms across 22 storeys, ranging from 344 sq ft to 646 sq ft.
The rooms are equipped with kitchenettes, rain showers, bathtubs and home entertainment systems. One-bedroom apartments on the upper floors offer separate living, kitchen and bathroom areas. The rooms also have large bay windows from which occupants can see Tokyo’s city skyline, the Tokyo Skytree and Mount Fuji.

Located in Akasaka, a prime commercial and residential district, the serviced residence is surrounded by major local and multinational corporations, and positioned between Akasaka-mitsuke and Aoyama-itchome metro stations. Facilities include a gym, golf simulator and a lounge. The property also has a restaurant facing an adjacent garden that serves Japanese and Italian seasonal fare.
To celebrate its launch, Fraser Suites Akasaka is offering a special opening discount of up to 40% off the best flexible rate, which includes late check-out and an exclusive welcome hamper, valid till Sept 30.
CEO of Frasers Hospitality Koh Teck Chuan says: “With domestic travel demand picking up, and discussions for travel bubbles underway, the opening of this property in Tokyo is a harbinger for travel recovery.”

In light of the pandemic, general manager of Fraser Suites Akasaka, Huang Meilin, says that Frasers Hospitality will keep pace with changes in travel advisories and extend flexibility on bookings, where necessary.
She adds, “Fraser Suites Akasaka has adopted heightened measures, including the availability of hand sanitiser in common public areas, access to masks for all guests, as well as increased cleaning and disinfection of high contact points within apartments.”
The opening of Frasers Suits Akasaka brings Frasers Hospitality portfolio to more than 140 properties in over 70 cities. Frasers Hospitality also operates Fraser Residence Nankai Osaka, which is its first serviced residence in Japan.
