HDB launches 5,291 flats for sale in August 2017 BTO and ROF exercise

On August 1, HDB launched 5,291 flats for sale under the August 2017 Built-to-Order (BTO) and the first Re-Offer of Balance Flats (ROF) exercise. The flats comprise 3,897 BTO units and 1,394 ROF units.
Including the 3,946 balance units offered in the May 2017 Sale of Balance Flats (SBF) exercise, HDB has launched a total of 18,095 flats so far in 2017.
The BTO flats on offer are situated across three projects in the non-mature towns of Bukit Batok and Sengkang, namely Sky Vista @ Bukit Batok, West Scape @ Bukit Batok, and Rivervale Shores. With housing grants, buyers of two-room Flexi, three-room, four-room and five-room flats could pay as little as $4,000, $84,000, $192,000, and $312,000 respectively.

Alongside the BTO exercise, HDB will hold the first ROF exercise, which will offer 1,394 unsold balance flats from the November 2016 SBF exercise. They include 110 units of two-room Flexi, 384 units of three-room, 624 units of four-room, 260 units of five-room, among other flat types, across various towns and estates.
New flat applications can be submitted online from August 1 to August 7. Applicants can apply for a flat under either the BTO or ROF exercise, but not both.
