IHG signs Holiday Inn Osaka Namba

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) signed Holiday Inn Osaka Namba in partnership with Japan Hotel Reit Investment Corporation (JHR), the largest J-Reit focused on hospitality assets with 38 hotels across Asia.
The maiden partnership is for the rebranding of the existing Hotel Vista Grande Osaka to Holiday Inn Osaka Namba by the end of 2016. Currently, there are 1,152 Holiday Inn hotels in over 70 countries. In Japan, Holiday Inn hotels can also be found in Sapporo, Sendai, Kanazawa and Miyazaki.
Holiday Inn Osaka Namba will join IHG’s InterContinental and ANA Crowne Plaza hotels in Osaka. IHG ANA Hotels Group Japan is a joint venture between IHG and ANA Holdings, making it one of the largest international hotel companies in Japan. IHG ANA Hotels Group Japan is operating a total of 32 hotels which combine IHG’s three international brands - InterContinental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn – and the local ANA brand.
