InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has signed a management contract with property developer RB Capital to launch InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay, the second InterContinental hotel in the city-state. Located on the existing Gallery Hotel site, the 225-room InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay is scheduled to open in 2016, and is part of RB Capital’s Robertson Quay rejuvenation project.
Designed by SCDA Architects, the hotel is part of a mixed-use development that comprises restaurants, bars and lifestyle retail outlets. The hotel’s arrival lobby, concierge services and flagship restaurant will be located on the ground floor, while the reception area will be on the fourth level. Other facilities include meetings rooms, function space, a club lounge, a swimming pool and a bar. The hotel rooms offer views of the Singapore River and the city skyline.
