KL-Singapore HSR terminus to be sited at Jurong Country Club

The Singapore Government has earmarked the current site of Jurong Country Club for the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High Speed Rail (HSR) terminus. New mixed-use developments and community facilities are planned in the surrounding area to serve Jurong residents, HSR passengers and visitors. Family-friendly recreation uses could also be developed to complement the upcoming Jurong Lake Gardens and the new Science Centre. Residents and visitors can look forward to enjoying continuous access to the entire Jurong Lake waterfront. To minimise the HSR's land take, all depot and stabling facilities will be located in Malaysia.
